Services

Children and Adolescents
Counselling for children and adolescents who have experienced or may be at risk of trauma, including experiences of sexual, physical and emotional abuse, exposure to domestic and family violence, attachment related trauma and other complex trauma presentations.

Sessions are child centred, trauma informed, developmentally appropriate, and utilise a number of creative expressive interventions.

Parents and Families
Sessions are available for Parents and family members of children who have experienced trauma and are designed to compliment children's therapy, as required.

Individual support for parents is also available (child does not necessarily need to be engaged with this service to access).

Adults
Trauma Therapy sessions are available for adults. Availability is primarily given to adults who have experienced trauma and are hoping to do trauma processing work. Please note this is generally long term ongoing psychotherapy and is suited to those who are committed to longer term engagement.

Animal Assisted Therapy
All of my site based sessions include my therapy dog, Pirate (unless you specifically request him to be excluded from the session).
Animal Assisted Therapy is evidenced to support individuals to engage with counselling whilst also supporting emotional regulation. It can be particularly useful for those who have concerns or challenges in engaging with mainstream services.

Pirate is not available to provide home based or outreach based support.

Sessions are not available to children under 5.

Clinical Supervision
Clinical supervision is available to new and experienced counsellors via Zoom or face to face at the frequency that suits your practice.
